I will need 2 technical references and one must be a US Citizen.
Needs 6 yrs of solid Java, 5 yrs of solid US experience (no exceptions)
Need 6yrs of solid Spring experience, Agile and Test First. All these skills
are required and must be demonstrated on the resume. Also must know DB
theory, full life cycle development.
Manager will do a 90 minute technical phone interview. If that goes well, they
will do a coding exercise on the phone for the out of area candidates. You can
see clear communications are incredibly important.
I want TOP NOTCH CANDIDATES ONLY with very strong resumes indicating java,
spring, Test First and Agile. If I don't see those on the resume, I will pass
on the candidate.
This must be demonstrated in the BODY of the resume (what they used it for, did
with it, etc.) NOT JUST IN THE SUMMARY. Again, if I don't see it, I will pass
on the resume.
Description
Provides Java application software development services or technical support
typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new Java
applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes,
tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application
components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
Usually requires 5 to 10 years of previous experience.

Client is currently seeking a Java developer to join their US Seed & Traits IT
team for an upcoming project. Successful candidate will work with the IT team
to develop and maintain customer facing web applications for US Seed & Traits
business on the enterprise Java platform. The individual will work as part of
an agile team involving but not limited to a Project Manager, Developers,
Technical Leads and Business Analysts to ensure the timely delivery of
applications. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): GUI
design, application code development, XML schema development, generate/parse
XML, execution of unit and acceptance testing, utilization of the automated
test infrastructure for the project and identification of application code and
services for reuse. Qualifications The candidate must possess the following
technical experience: . Minimum 6 years of experience in software development
utilizing Enterprise Java technologies. . Experience with Web Services &
demonstrated experience in specific technologies including EJB, JMS, Spring,
Hibernate, JUnit, SOAP, XML-RPC and XML. . Experience working with Weblogic
Application Server. . In-depth knowledge of the Application Development
Lifecycle. . Solid knowledge of design patterns. . At least four years of
experience utilizing Oracle/SQL. . Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis
and Design techniques. Desired skills: . Experience with Test First Development
Methodology. . Experience with Agile development methodologies. . Experience
with Maven. . Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
