Job Description: SharePoint developer to analyze business/user needs, document requirements, design and specify functional and technical solutions; and provide leadership through solution implementation. Take ownership of problems or support issues that arise in the operation of assigned business systems, ensuring that all issues are resolved in an expedient fashion and to user satisfaction. Create and update SharePoint workflows, create new web parts, write ASP.NET code for custom application. Create and update SharePoint site templates and page layout templates in accordance with SLAC governance rules. Meet software compliance standards in all applications. Develop and maintain application documentation on an ongoing basis. Maintain documentation suitable for matrixed SharePoint experts. Train matrixed SharePoint experts at the Lab. Provide end-user support. Requirements: · 5+ years in Microsoft .NET development with a minimum of 3+ years of SharePoint development in a lead role. · Ability to implement web-based solutions with a combination of programming tools to include Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio .NET development suite (AJAX, XML, VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET), Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer, HTML, and JavaScript. · Proven development and production implementation experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007. · Experience developing custom solutions for SharePoint using web parts. · Experience with evaluating design effectiveness, readability, usability, and navigation. · Ability to evaluate and integrate 3rd party plug-ins with SharePoint. · Strong ability to troubleshoot SharePoint and integration issues. · Experience using SharePoint to integrate with existing applications and databases. · Strong Project Management skills. · BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
