MS Exchange Engineer Ann Arbor, MI 12 Months long Bill rate: 45/hr C2C Description: The candidate will work with the MS Exchange Migration team to deploy enterprise level MS Exchange 2010 servers infrastructure and all application services for 40,000+ users. The candidate will work with the Identity Management team to implement Active Directory infrastructure required to support MS Exchange, Sharepoint, and other Microsoft services. The candidate will assist in deploying BES and other services required for Mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhone...) connect to the deployed MS Exchange infrastructure. The candidate will also assist in the migration of existing GroupWise email to MS Exchange system and all manner of tasks required supporting this effort. Efforts may include assistance with migration planning, assisting with evaluation of customer’s environment prior to migration, and execution of migration tasks. We seek a person with strong skill sets in designing, configuring, and deploying Microsoft Exchange 2010 infrastructure. Experience in migrating GroupWise Email services to MS Exchange is highly desired. Required Qualifications: - 3-5 Years experience designing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Exchange /2007 servers. - 5+ years of experience designing, configuring, and managing an enterprise level Microsoft Exchange/Messaging environment of 10,000+ users is a must. - Extensive working experience with Microsoft Active Directory 2003 - Leads system design activities or reviews system designs to assure that MS Exchange deployment solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate usability and reliability upon deployment. - Knowledge of server hardware and SAN storage to support MS Exchange - Experience in migrating GroupWise email service to MS Exchange using the Quest Groupwise Migrator product or similar tools. - Strong communication skills - Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with the most senior levels of internal staff, management and clients - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Good project management skills - Ability to lead and work in a team environment - Ability to work after hours and flex their schedule as many of the server migrations will be done during after business hours.
