Location: Warren, MI Duration: The position is very long term with no end date in sight. Rate: $30-32/hr max on W2 My all inclusive pay rate to you would be $28-32/hr on W2and the position is located in the Tech Center in Warren, MI Submit with Month and day of birth Job Description: 1. Degree - Do need a bachelor's of science in CS or engineering 2. No less than 10 years hands on experience coding, testing and implement java/SharePoint applications 3. Must be able to lend assistance on the specific software discipline 4. Must be able to do hands on trouble shooting when required 5. Must understand performance monitoring within the application, O/S and network. 6. Provide support for application developers 7. Provide governance to implement GM's standards. This will require good communication, thick skin to handle the late projects trying to get in and leadership skills. 8. Has multiple O/S's, vendors and programming language experience such as C, C++, SQL, XMS, Java, WLS 9. Understands infrastructure end to end, (Client, Web, App, DB, Storage, network/SAN) 10. Can speak conceptual and drive to an end result 11. Good work ethic, this is customer facing and requires you to be on site M-F during customer business hours. Usually 8 to 5 and some early morning calls and evening calls are possible . During escalations late night or weekend work is possible. This has happened 3 to 4 time over the last 4 years. It was usually 1 to 2 weekends at most in each case. 12. Good demeanor and must be able to multi-task.
