Please send your candidate w/ the best rate. This client wanted to hire someone perm but has had a problem finding someone. They will consider someone for a 6-12 month contract at this point. Description: Responsible for managing, maintaining and supporting the Accounts Payable module for the America's region. Also be responsible for support of system VAT and Sales Tax functionality to meet business requirements primarily for the America's region and provide support assistance across all regions. The position will involve various concurrent functions such as conducting new implementations, business requirements gathering and interpretation, providing system solutions, system development and testing, end user training and user support. The successful candidate will be working within a global implementation team to leverage system functionality to improve business processes in existing installations and work within a global implementation team to rollout PeopleSoft FMS modules across all group companies. Responsibilities: . Regional Functional Lead for Accounts Payable and VAT . Coordinate with PeopleSoft Product Manager on global AP / VAT policies and configuration to ensure consistency of approach . Lead business requirements gathering efforts with business partners; interpret and document results . Design and implement Accounts Payable Business Unit and VAT Entity Configuration . Troubleshoot issues associated with configuration and/or process . Provide system and/or process solutions . Conduct development and testing . Document and assist in the vetting and prioritization of enhancement requests . Conduct end user training . Assist in producing training materials . Assist in providing issue resolution regionally and globally . Provide timely status updates to various related groups . Will require domestic and international travel Requirements: . 5+ years of functional PeopleSoft experience in versions 8.8 or above . Specific understanding and work experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module . Good working experience of Latin American and/or Canadian VAT/Tax functionality . Ability to interact with end users and convert the requirements into an application reality . Ability to lead business requirement sessions with users and document .
