Rate would be $32hr on C2C and $27/hour on W2 Duration: 18 month + contract Looking for an intermediate to advanced combination UNIX/Windows Systems Administrator with some background in "WebLogic or WebSphere", hardware and OS support. Successful candidate will be responsible for providing UNIX/Windows Hardware, Operating System and middleware support in a Production/Non-Production support environment. Job duties include but are not limited to responding to incidents via phone, monitoring alarms, service restoration, root cause analysis, and documentation. Key Responsibilities a.. The ability to coordinate with multiple groups to resolve complex issues: Understand multi-tier, multiple platform environments, and System administration. b.. Must be "pro-active" and have a sense of workplace pride - and personal pride in the quality of their work and contribution. c.. Excellent ethics, morals, and a "real commitment to honesty and integrity" is essential. d.. Need a "can do" and "will do" attitude. Not looking for a candidate filled with excuses. e.. Good verbal and written communication skills with particular emphasis on incident management. f.. Candidate should be familiar with Service Level Agreements/Operational Level Agreements and be able to handle multiple incidents and prioritize between them. g.. Must be able to work in a high pressure/visibility environment. h.. Administration of the UNIX/Linux and WINDOWS environments including validating environmental health, patch level and access control issues. i.. Basic Administration of Middleware Applications to include WebLogic and WebSphere. j.. The individual will also research, analyze and incorporate emerging technologies into the UNIX/WINDOWS environments for access management, patching and (possibly) source control and deployment. k.. Versatility is a key measure to the success of this position. l.. Demonstrable versatility between flavors of UNIX/Linux, WINDOWS, WEBLOGIC and WEBSPHERE mentioned above will be a plus.
