If you are available for this, please send your latest resume to [email protected]<https://mail.google.com/mc/[email protected]>If you have any quires call me on 703-254-5464 Ext: 120 Position: Java/ web Architect Location: Washington D.C Duration: 6-12 months RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for ensuring the overall quality, accessibility and agility of information across multiple data types (structured and unstructured), balancing the need for access against security and performance requirements. • Focuses on information requirements, such as design, access, use and stewardship. • Champions efforts to improve business performance through architecture solutions and capabilities, such as data standards, data dictionary, glossary, data mapping leading to metadata management, data governance and master data management. • Create physical and logical data models in the business(es) • Design and develop data integration, business intelligence and content management capability for the solution. • Define and realize the application architecture across multiple projects for large ecommerce and Web programs • Analyze ARC's business and IT challenges and design a comprehensive solution that integrates smoothly into the environment • Design for reliability, availability, and scalability • Define, document, and model systems and software architecture • Engage System Integrators, Vendors, and staff • Represent overall platform architecture Point of View • Maximize re-use across programs and projects • Work with other Architects to ensure enterprise and cross-program architectural cohesion • Manage the development of business, data, and application models REQUIREMENTS: *• 10+ years of Information Technology experience* *• 4+ years of Application and Data Architecture experience in eCommerce* *• Strong experience with high volume B2C ecommerce systems and Web 2.0 Marketing systems*** • Ability to continuously evolve the organization's Web capabilities as the company delivers the next generation of Web-based platforms • Capable of guiding technology teams and designers across all projects • Substantial online experience ideally in environments that have transformed their business models to embrace the Web as a value-added channel. • Background launching innovative Web technologies is ideal • Strong experience with J2EE application servers • Experience with legacy to COTS systems integration • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture • Experience with modeling techniques, such as UML or BPM • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in simplifying and standardizing complex business processes and IT systems. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively • Ability to share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources, in clear concise language. • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience with agile software development techniques • Multi-Channel retail experience preferred -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
