IMMEDIATE START!!!* Portland, OR, 6 month contract, - Experience with SAP/Data Services – this is critical - DW experience…(need to see references to Facts, or Dimensions, or methods; which are true indicators of experience.) - Oracle developer. - Datamart developer Update to qualifications. - The candidate needs to have experience (at least an understanding of) o Dimensional data structures o Kimball methodology - Need for 3 years experience in o Data Services (formerly Data Integrator). o Oracle 10 or 11. o Tuning experience with both. * * *OVERVIEW * The primary purpose and function of the Data Mart Developer is to act as a highly skilled contributor in the evolution and development of new information provided to executive management. We are searching for a high level developer with three or more years of experience in DW and BI development using Oracle 11g, PL/SQL and the SAP/Data Services ETL tool (version V3.0 is preferred). A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required *RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Contributes to the development and maintenance of the Data Mart, particularly utilizing SAP/Data Services (DS) and PLSQL with an Oracle 11g database - Designs and develops extract-transform-load (ETL) modules; particularly in creating/maintaining flexible and extensible DS data flows - Leads and/or participates in requirements gathering sessions with end user community - Authors design and requirement documents - Optimally uses relational and dimensional data models - Creates unit and end user testing strategies - Performs analysis and provides insight into potential process improvements (performance tuning) - Embraces open dialogue and free exchange of ideas - Works with Team to choose the best solution for any given situation - Maintains and upgrades key software components Collaborates with IT and business team members to achieve Practice goals ========================================================================== Look forward to working with you towards our mutual success.
