This position will be primarily responsible in corporate IT environments. This individual will have responsibilities that will require him/her to communicate with multiple departments within the company as well as customers and internal project teams. As an IT Manager, this individual will on occasion be required to work off-hours to satisfy requirements for the various environments that require support. The individual that accepts this position will be required to carry a cellular phone. Light travel may be required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities** This jobs primary responsibility includes but is not limited to: · Responsible for managing, supporting and maintaining 24x7x365 corporate infrastructure. · Support and management of corporate Exchange servers, Active Directory, DNS, domain controllers, and corporate VOIP phone system. · Support and manage corporate anti-virus programs. · Support, manage, and troubleshoot corporate laptops and workstations. · Build, configure, and maintain Windows servers and Microsoft Server Applications (Sharepoint, Exchange, IIS) for internal corporate IT. · Lead and manage a bare metal build initiative in a virtualized environment using Citrix XenSource virtualization platform. · Support various network connectivity requirements: Ethernet, TCP/IP, and IPSec. · Manage approx 60+ tele-workers with remote access technologies (SSL-VPN, VPN, Remote helpdesk tools) · Manage, maintain, and prototype various Windows operating systems · Support and understand nix sub-systems such Red Hat Linux. · Manage corporate security subsystems such as client disk encryption system and two-factor authentication · Identify and troubleshoot HW, OS and application problems when they arise. · Use/develop tools to monitor and notify operations of any problems that may occur. · Assist in system and network planning for both short term and long term goals. *Qualifications:*** · Strong knowledge in networking TCP/IP and networking applications such as DNS, routing concepts. · Strong knowledge in Exchange server, and Active Directory. · Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Operating systems. · Experience with Unix operating systems including RedHat Linux. · Strong experience with batch files, Perl, or other scripting languages. · Strong working knowledge in enterprise automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, SCOM, or other configuration tools. · 5+ years experience supporting Windows office applications. · Working experience working in a 24x7x365, on-call data center environment. · Experience using network and OS-level monitoring tools, Nagios experience desired. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Ability to troubleshoot research and provide proactive resolutions to infrastructure issues.
