Job Title: Qlikview Architect/Senior Developer Location: Midtown, NY Job Description: · As a member of the Business Intelligence (BI) team the primary focus of this position would be to develop new and enhance existing product offerings using the QlikView BI platform. · Working as a member of the BI team, the individual will be involved in all phases of development and will need to intimately understand the requirements and work with the team to recommend the most optimal strategy to implement them. · The creation and maintenance of product documentation will also be an important function of this resource. Experience: · Minimum 3 years of experience in the use of the QlikView version 9 or higher with proven experience in the following areas: QlikView scripting and ETL development; working on large data sets (100 of millions of rows range); integrating data from more than one source; incremental loads; working with QVDs; use of complex QlikView functions and developing most optimal scripts for a given solution · Data modeling experience with a strong knowledge of star schemas · Optimization of data model for query performance · Experience with complex data models involving more than 10 tables · Front-end design · Creating complex expressions for dynamic aggregation · Strong fundamentals in basic graphic design concepts to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces · Actions and triggers · Preserving and/or clearing user selections during tab navigation based upon business need · Automation of user actions · Prior experience of integration with QVExcel will be a plus · Prior experience of gathering requirements from clients and translating into technical requirements Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: · Strong knowledge of QlikView platform version 11 will be a big plus · Good understanding of general BI concepts and data warehouse functions will be a strong plus · Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills · Excellent communication skills Thanks & Regards M D Sadiq UTIS Inc 732 658 9072 E-Mail: [email protected] URL: www.utisinc.com -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
