*Summary
Provide Web Sphere support for distributed servers in a multi-datacenter
environment.
Monitor daily activities and performance of complex Web Sphere environments
in UNIX or Windows, analyzes technical problems, recommend adjustments,
creates and implements approved solutions using established tools and
techniques for the IBM Web Sphere suite of products (IBM Application
Server, Portal, MQ Series, etc.) in virtual or non-virtual environments.
Provide technical assistance to the application development area and
co-workers about Web Sphere system analysis, design and programming.
Configures Web Sphere services (e.g. security, JDBC, clusters). Plans,
installs and coordinates Web Sphere releases, migrations, upgrades and
maintenance. Build new environments as needed and need to implement Web
Sphere virtualization.*
