*Overview:*
The Athena Core Development team is working on “Numba” development and
integration support on Win 32 and Linux32/64, with a focus on performance
enhancements that optimize computations at both compile and run time.
Keep job duties will be
1) Bug fixes
2) Inclusion of patches into the Numba code base
3) Performance Enhancements
4) NUMBA compiler development
*Minimum Requirements*
- 3+ years of Object-oriented Python
- Experience working with 3rd party API’s
- Solid grasp of language (Python) and framework (Django or Pyramid)
*Preferred Requirements and Education*
- Experience with JavaScript is a bonus
- Experience interfacing C/C++ with Pythons is a bonus
- Experience with manipulating media files with Python is a bonus
- Experience with NUMBA is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or 3+ years
equivalent experience in a related field
- Wants to live a disruptive life: rapid releases, quick decisions,
lots of autonomy
- Have decent Foosball skills (or a willingness to learn)
