Candidate will be working with the group to provide physical/operational DBA support a large number of Oracle databases in a structured environment. Requirements: - Very strong experience with the Oracle database on UNIX/Linux (see Primary Duties for list of products). Primary Duties / Responsibilities: - Create and administer Oracle databases (both RAC and non-RAC). - Work with Linux, kernel parameters, OS packages, shell scripting, etc. - Investigate and solve performance issues. - Perform backup/restore using export/import and RMAN. - Perform Installs, Security Patching, and Database Upgrades. - Administration of Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control. - GoldenGate Deployment, Administration, and Support. - Follow defined ITIL processes for Change, Incident, and Problem Management. - Must be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
