*Overview:*

   1. Core OTM Setups and Configurations like Rates, Agents, Screen Layout
   changes, saved queries, buy & sell shipments, freight payments etc.
   2. Hands-on experience on Oracle EBS to OTM Integration using BPEL and
   SOA - for rate enquiry (RIQ) and for shipment plans.
   3. Though this role isn’t required to write code, person must have good
   understanding of XML & PL/SQL.
   4. Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning of OTM.

*Qualifications:*

- Core OTM Setups and Configurations like Rates, Agents, Screen Layout
changes, saved queries, buy & sell shipments, freight payments etc.
- Hands-on experience on Oracle EBS to OTM Integration using BPEL and SOA -
for rate enquiry (RIQ) and for shipment plans.
- Though this role isn’t required to write code, person must have good
understanding of XML & PL/SQL.
- Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning of OTM.
- Utilize your functional (50%) & technical (50%) skills to give shape to
future business processes and architecture in the area of Oracle
Transportation Management (OTM).
- Provide insights into functional, technical and architectural aspects of
Oracle EBS to OTM integration.
- For EBS-to-OTM integration as well as core OTM areas, drive map-gap
discussions with business users and document the solution alternatives
(7-ways) in order to help conclude on the optimum choice, with a goal of
minimizing customizations and of long-term sustenance. Work as a business
partner, but provide pushback if these goals do not seem to meet.
- Do the setups and configurations as needed for OTM application to work in
conjunction with EBS in respective DEV environments. Document the setups in
a BR100 document, setup owners for doing setups in TEST, QA and PROD. Keep
BR100 up-to-date.
- For any customized process, write the functional design document (MD020)
and get it signed off from business. For the technical design document
(MD060), provide detailed inputs to development team.
- Develop and execute testscripts for unit-testing, business-testing
(during CRPs/UATs) and integration-testing (during SIT).
- Work effectively with business, vendor/partners's resources and various
IT teams such as Infrastructure, SOA and DBAs. Raise red flags promptly.
Assist in building consensus and resolving conflicts, if any.
- In case of issues discovered, help in troubleshooting and performance
tuning of OTM. Raise SRs with Oracle whenever needed and keep them up to
date.
- Simplify business processes with the help of OTM application. Standardize
the processes wherever opportunity exists e.g. by reusing the object or by
following a global design when available.  Help maximizing business goals.
- Learn, adopt and help improving the ERP implementation standards,
policies, governance and operational procedures.
- Proactively set action plans for himself and for the team working with
you, with minimum supervision.
- Share all your work with client and vendor/partner’s team, follow all the
knowledge management practices, and whenever necessary, provide an
effective KT / training to identified resources.
- Business end-user training is NOT part of your responsibilities, neither
developing content, nor imparting training.
- Configuration and Development of OTM module.
- Integrations of OTM with EBS Suite of products.

business and within the customers IT organization.
- Advises on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability and
multiple platforms.

Typical Years of Experience

- Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work
experience.

Skills

- Strong understanding of at least one programming language.
- Strong knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications.
- Strong knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
- Applies a broad knowledge of application programming and design to
analyze and isolate issues.
- Exceptional ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
- General understanding of how technology decisions relate to business
needs.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without
reasonable accommodations.
- Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips
may be required.
