*ROLE: Senior ABAP Developer Location: Boston, MADuration: 3-4 +Months Contract* The Senior ABAP Developer role is a hands-on position that is responsible for developing new programs, maintaining and supporting the SAP design and development process by resolving defects, providing assistance in solving integration testing issues and executing cutover related tasks. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* 5+ years SAP ABAP experience with in-depth knowledge of general ABAP programming techniques preferred. Practical experience with programming Function Modules, Object-Oriented ABAP, BOR, User Exits, Enhancements and Dialog Programming preferred. A strong understanding of modern enhancement techniques using BAdIs and/or the Enhancement Framework preferred. At least 2 full life-cycle implementations using a recognized methodology required. Working knowledge of SAP interfacing technologies (ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces) preferred. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Strong individual contributor with advanced problem solving skills. Work independently with minimal supervision. *PREFERRED SKILLS:* Integration experience via IDOCs with XI or another EAI tools preferred.
