Implement our assessment recommendations with focus on - Performance, scalability, reliability, operability, flexibility, affordability from Teradata platform standpoint. 3. Own delivery of overall integrated solution to include: Bring best practices for Teradata 14.10 relevant for Freescale needs Implement best practices to optimize Teradata and ETL loads based on specific requirements. Liaison with business to ensure requirements are fully represented in new platform Ensure overall test plan incorporates functional and non-functional requirements. 4. Identify ETL architecture design alternatives based on Freescale's objective and budget Ability to influence the Key stakeholders and help appreciate the trade-offs in ETL design solutions Ensure that the new ETL solution integrates with the legacy environment. Assess the readiness of the ETL environment (including the systems, tools, technologies, processes, and resource requirements) to implement the architecture Bring Experience to build roadmap for creating semantic layer and identify use case for POC Teradata 14.10 extensive experience is must and mandatory 1. Understanding the current Teradata architecture in both data track and technical track. 2. Should able to identify the bad performance queries from like DBQL, VIEWPOINT, amp usage, query spotlight , res usage etc... 3. Once the query captured, should understand the issue in queries and solve it. Explain plan, visual explain, PJ index, UI index, res usage reports, PDCR etc... 4. Then come up with the standard framework model with best practices. 5.
