*Job Title:* * Quality Analyst Job Type: Contract 6 months + Location: New York, New York, United States POSITION DESCRIPTION: * Ø Create test plan according to the business specifications/requirements Ø Interface with different resources in the workspace including development, and business analysis teams. Ø Communicate progress toward daily and weekly deliverables. Ø Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying defects. Ø Identify, recommend changes to established practices and QA policies. Ø Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design. *ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:* Ø *2+ years Investment Banks &Securities Experience* o *Experience with OMS and understands trade life cycle. (big plus)* Ø *5 years of relevant IT/Quality Assurance work experience. * o *Test Management* o *Test Strategies* o *Testing Environments* Ø *Strong Software Development Life Cycle knowledge and specifically QA process/test methodologies. * Ø *Excellent working knowledge of Electronic Trading Systems and order lifecycle.* Ø *Comfortable working in a UNIX/LINUX test environment. * Ø Excellent Project Coordination/Tracking skills with ability to work under pressure and multi-task. Ø Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work. Ø Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate effectively on technical and business levels.
