You will also help to establish a formal practice around API testing and validation to ensure the delivery of world-class APIs for use by the company’s products as well as by customers, partners and third-party development organizations. • Engage in software quality assurance testing to ensure quality and integrity of software products. ? • Conduct software testing, research new techniques and provide input to development team for SaaS model web based applications and n-tier architectures. • Develop a test strategy to test complicated system changes by working with development REQUIRED: • Candidates should be able to articulate the differences between an API and a collection of services. • At least 4 years of experience in software development environment. • Able to build API test suites, test plans, and test cases based on technical design specifications • Experience conducting software testing in middle tier using web services/API testing tools, e.g. • Experience with SQL databases, and ability to write queries to enable data analysis. • Knowledge of JSON and HTTP operations • Experience on software development teams and an understanding of the full software development lifecycle from inception through maturity.
