As discussed, I have *SQL Server Developer *for my direct client requirement, please send me matching resume with contact details and expected billing rates ASAP. *Below are the job description:* *SQL Server Developer* *Location: Edina, MN* *SUMMARY*: The Database Developer works within a team to create web-centric solutions, develop database and data feed solutions, administer databases and database servers, participate in the build and deployment cycle and contribute in all phases of development projects while providing support to existing clients. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * *Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* · Create Web-Centric Solutions - Maintain and enhance database code infrastructure to support web-based, mission-critical, high-volume, high-performance transaction applications. o Participate in the design, code creation and maintenance, implementation and documentation of all SQL environments o Work collaboratively with the team members to create stored procedures and fulfill business requirements · Build Feed Solutions – Develop and administer feeds to ensure flow of data and media to and from business partners o Develop imports to and extracts from existing SQL databases o Use various source and targets to build flows – XML, Flat File, Web Service, JPEG, etc. o Create and maintain all database structures o Manipulate, cleanse and load data o Build data conversion programs o Develop Reporting Services reports · Administer databases and database servers – Actively participant in the analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance of all database environments. o Tune and optimize the performance by regular evaluation and monitoring of databases and their objects to identify and resolve performance and reliability issues. o Troubleshoot in all database environments using available tools to diagnose and resolve issues o Backup and restore of databases for disaster recovery, testing and development work o Deployment of database solution code o Administer Reporting Services instances – deploy objects, manage security, etc. · Participate in the build and deployment cycle – Works with the internal toolset to promote changes to the next environment o Migrate code to various environments o Participate in code reviews o Communicate changes to team members and management o Work within the team framework, utilizing tools like Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server (TFS) · Contribute in all phases of development projects o Participate in the full life cycle of assigned projects o Refine business requirements o Provide written design documents o Provide both written and oral communication on task progress, issues, and risks o Conduct independent unit testing and integration testing; collaborate with team members on other testing needs o Document technical aspects of project · Provide support to existing clients – o Respond to troubleshooting requests by utilizing knowledge of the systems and previous development experience o Evaluate, monitor and tune application to identify and resolve performance issues o Work in a team environment, sharing responsibilities and reporting to management *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS* · 2 years of experience in a high volume web-enabled environment including development of stored procedures · 3 years of database development experience using T-SQL on MS SQL Server (2005 and higher) · 3 years of experience in data transformation and analysis in both normalized and de-normalized data environments from a wide variety of data sources · 3 years of experience in unit testing and/or integration testing experience · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience *OTHER QUALIFICATIONS* · Experience in Agile environments. · Experience with various development technologies - Scripting, SSIS, SQLCLR, .NET, DTS, SSRS · Experience with support and administration of multi-database environments including SQL Clustering and various SAN storage solutions · Familiarity working with source control systems and deployment technologies such as Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server (TFS) · Unit testing and integration testing experience · Familiar with physical-layer hardware interfaces, higher-level OS architecture, communications technology, embedded applications, and enterprise management · Highly organized individual, capable of handling multiple conflicting priorities and comfortable working with a diverse team · Solid oral, written and interpersonal communications · Work well individually and also in team setting · Ability to move easily between multiple projects at any given time *In addition, working knowledge of the following is desired:* · RedGate · Beyond Compare · BIDS Helper *Please send me Resumes as soon as you can please.* Thanks & Regards *Arjun Singh* IDC Technologies, Inc. 1851 McCarthy Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035 Phone: 408-668-8654 *Fax* - 408-608-6088 Mailto: [email protected] Website: www.idctechnologies.com *Yahoo IM- arjunsibs Gtalk- arjuns375* *Linkedin: *http://www.linkedin.com/home?trk=nav_responsive_tab_home *SAVE ENVIRONMENT.* The information contained in this electronic message and any attachments to this message are intended for the exclusive use of the addressee(s) and may contain proprietary, confidential or privileged information.
