Please let me know if you have any available resources to [email protected] Role: QA Analyst Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 6 Months Overview: The BI (Business Intelligence) QA Analyst will be expected to identify appropriate opportunities for QA/Test automation of BI solutions and develop associated test/QA frameworks and processes. In addition, this candidate will participate in the establishment/development of long-term improvement of testing processes and tools, as well as reviewing and improving requirements traceability to ensure appropriate test coverage. Healthcare Payer experience from one of the following companies-HUGE PLUS: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, Anthem, BCBS, Horizon, Champus/Tricare, Wellpoint, HCSC, TUFTS, Harvard Pilgrim, CDPHP, Oxford HP, Healthfirst NY & NJ, Fallon, Americhoice, NHP. Possible Options- Healthcare consulting vertical experience.- Accenture, Slalom, PWC, KPMG, Cerner, etc. Requirements: 1. Must have 3-5 experience in Q/A-software testing & 1 year experience in enterprise data warehouse environments including: o Experience in test automation is required o Strong hands-on PL/SQL coding experience is required. o Create stored procedures and queries to automate testing o Responsible for writing, executing and debugging PL/SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing o Ensure content and structure of all testing documents / artifacts are documented and maintained o Prepare / review test conditions, test cases and test scripts o Execute test cases / scripts o Log and track defects to closure 2. Experience testing data for data marts, data warehouses, and data integration solutions o Must have previous experience with project team in requirements gathering and analysis o Work with Business Analysts, Developers, ETL and Data warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts 3. Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica is a plus 4. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 5. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 6. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
