Solution Configuration/Estimation: Determine the configuration or infrastructure solution that will meet business requirements. Provide estimates for system costs and resources for infrastructure build/deploy. 2. Project Activity Coordination – Manages the infrastructure delivery aspect of projects and coordinates with Operations resources and application project managers to deliver solutions on time and within budget. May also support team leads in these efforts on larger projects. Act as a liaison between the IS Business Groups, Technology Office and Operations areas to execute project tasks. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to deployment: operational, functional, or performance. Required Skills: • 7+ years of IT experience. • Strong interpersonal skills – including verbal and written communication, meeting management, conflict resolution, team building. • Strong problem solving skills. Able to drive innovation, collaboration, and solution risk/benefit analysis • Operational experience with at least two of the following: o UNIX, Windows, Linux or z/VM. • Familiarity with multiple components of information technology infrastructure, including multiple operating systems, OLTP and OLAP systems, Web-centric architectures, various hardware components (servers, disk and tape subsystems), network infrastructure components, systems management tools and database management systems • Ability to work with little or no supervision and minimal assistance. • Familiarity with project management, including ability to interpret project plans and assist project managers with task definition. • Testing- Facilitate the development of system test and performance test plans. • May review test cases, facilitate test environment configuration, help with identification and resolution of issues.
