Please let me know if you have any available resources to [email protected] *Business Systems Analyst* *Location: Watsonville, CA* *Length: 9 months* *Interview: phone / Face to Face* *LOCALS ONLY : US CITIZEN or GREENCARD ONLY* In this position, you will be responsible for leading business requirements definition to successful completion including the discovery, analysis and documentation of process flows, use cases, test and training plans. You will be a member of the Project Management Office (PMO) and the project liaison between partner subject matter experts and the Information Technology (IT) team. This position interacts with partners across the globally distributed corporation. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for effective communication between partners and management as well as other support members and the IT team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ability to elicit the true requirements underlying feature requests, align them with alternative technical and business approaches and work with business and technical teams to develop solutions that meet goals and requirements. 2. Overseeing business to system knowledge management & documentation and assisting in overall system design from user interface to backend processes in both custom application development and software configuration projects. 3. Business analysis processes mapping including assorted requirements gathering methodologies, documentation and partner relationship development. 4. Will interact as IT contact with business unit partners to facilitate identification of process improvements, risk management, system design, testing and implementation of complex solutions. 5. Communicate the vision for the system by extracting, analyzing and prioritizing business requirements from business objectives, documenting those requirements and refining them into technical action items. 6. Responsible for interpreting and validating horizontal business strategies and operational needs into technology solutions that drive efficiency and process improvement. 7. Assist business partners with defining clear, measurable objectives and ensure the solution options meet the project goals. 8. Provide business and technical leadership and work with the IT Project Team to ensure that projects progress on expected timelines and alert project team to risks and issues related to IT solutions. 9. Complete assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner and coordinate the tasks of internal and external resources where necessary to achieve required results. 10. Follow Company policies and practices while representing Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, governmental agencies, growers, customers, etc. 11. Ensures the security of Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials 12. Other duties as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 – 5 years of work experience in systems analysis and design or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills to convey both technical and non-technical concepts to a wide audience. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and effectively present findings and recommendations to management. • Experience in both in-house development solutions and implementation of vendor delivered applications preferred. • Requires excellent analytical and problem solving skills. A comprehensive understanding of business processes and the ability to quickly learn new processes. • Expresses detail level business/systems analysis using As-Is Swimlane Diagrams, UML Use Case and other modeling standards. • Strong experience with Microsoft product suite, including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and SharePoint required. • ERP knowledge and previous experience a plus. • Travel and after-hours support required. • Bilingual English /Spanish communication skills preferred • A California driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program are also required.
