Certifications are big plus.* Location: Chicago, IL Duration:12 months *Here is an Long term opportunity for a PM in Chicago, below is the description, please forward me your contractors profiles.* *Responsibilities:* • Responsible for consistent delivery of projects on-time and on-budget and for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, execution, communications and completion of concurrent projects using local, regional and/or global teams • Assemble and lead project teams across multiple internal teams and vendors across multiple time zones • Proactively identify dependencies between projects and resolve any conflicts to maintain project timelines and ensure communications to align on project delivery criteria • Influence decision-making and problem-solving across projects and teams • Analyze projects to identify risks and potential roadblocks. Plan and drive projects of significant complexity and risk and modify project plans to mitigate risk • Develop, prepare and submit weekly project status reports to ensure team and leadership are on the same page • Create project plans detailing tasks, estimates of effort, resource allocations, quality requirements and metrics • Facilitate the planning, management, and execution of projects across different time zones, business requirements, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. • Facilitate necessary internal and external meetings and prepare project plan updates to ensure project tasks are being completed in a timely fashion • Communicate project objectives, impacts, and status appropriately to various levels of the organization • This position may require occasional international travel. *Skills and experience:* • *Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Operations project management (Infrastructure and core services)* *• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing Salesforce.* • Experience delivering projects with vendor partners.
