Only look for candidates in Florida!!* *Position Summary* · Develop, modify, and update software applications in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. Participate in the Software Developer role in efforts to determine unit needs and business processes to be automated by software/hardware applications. Participate in and review steps in the software development life cycle. *Essential Duties* · Serve as Software Developer in the course of application development projects. · Participate as part of a team of technical staff and managers with the business units to determine technical systems requirements and functionality needed in large/complex development projects. · Assess and develop high-level design requirements for projects and communicate in writing and in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. · Responsible for the detailed design documentation, development, unit testing, and ongoing maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products. · Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). · Write code to enhance existing programs and/or develop new programs. · Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points. · Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects. · Perform unit testing and debugging. · Support application development throughout the Product Development life cycle. · Coordinate with architecture team and determine proper integration approach. · Review applications and make recommendations to vendor technical teams. · Ability to travel occasionally as needed. *Experience/Skills* · 4+ years of design documentation, development, unit testing, and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products · 4+ years’ experience developing applications using the following technologies: Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework, C#, Web Services, MVC, REST, angular and/or knockout. · 4+ years developing web services or SOA. · nice to have 1+ years azure cloud service development/deployment, azure table storage · 4+ years SQL Server2008 (or higher), and/or Oracle 10g (or higher), stored procedures, and other related database knowledge. · 4+ years iterative software development methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum, etc.) · 4+ years using code archiving systems (prefer TFS). · Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance. · Willing to learn Informatica. *Thanks & Regards* Adam Miller 201-497-1010 Ext 103 G/Y mail: adam.pullskill a...@pullskill.com / www.pullskill.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
