Securities and Capital Markets* *Location : Princeton, NJ* *Duration : 6+ months* *Qualifications required- MBA/CFA/MFM/CA.* 1. Engineering background is desirable, but not essential. 2. The key responsibilities in the Business Analyst stream include the following: 1. Participate in projects with key Securities and Capital markets customers with nature of work spanning across the software services value chain: application development/enhancement / migration/ product implementation and reverse engineering. 2. Perform business requirements/gap analysis, propose relevant solutions and validate with business users. 3. Interview business users and SMEs and create detailed Business Requirement documents 4. Communicate, coordinate and assist with various development and user teams (onsite and off shore) in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle. Design and follow up on action-plans. 5. Participate and contribute in consulting assignments, business development efforts (RFPs/RFIs) and branding initiatives (white papers/media publications) for the Securities and Capital markets vertical. *Senior Business Analyst / Domain Consultants (Atleast 6-7 years’ experience in Financial Services)* * Functional Skills*- The domain knowledge should include a strong understanding of the securities & capital markets landscape and the person should have an in-depth understanding in *Trade Life Cycle Management & Reconciliation*, Middle office systems for Transaction Management, Data Management – Reference and Pricing data, Client Reporting & *Record Keeping. *Candidate must have experience working in one or more of the following: Asset/Wealth Management, Exchanges, Custody, Derivatives processing, Fund Accounting/Administration, Reconciliation, Brokerage platforms, Performance & Risk Analytics. *Operational Skills*- Good communication skills, team spirit, strong analytical thinking, listening & questioning skills, and client interfacing skills. The person should be able to own the requirements management for a mid-sized project and lead a team of around 3-4 BAs. The person should possess advanced business analysis skills proven through delivering in multiple client engagements. .
