Description We have an immediate need for a SharePoint Developer as a crucial part of a significant Teradata project. The contractor would participate in the development of the project, as well as ongoing support of the SharePoint Online platform at Teradata. The ideal candidate has 5 years of SharePoint development experience and experience with SharePoint Online. Desired Skills at a Glance: • SharePoint Online – mastery of out-of-box components (term sets, managed metadata, workflows, custom forms); expertise in customizing the functionality of SharePoint Online via C#, API • Federated search – ability to configure external web sites to be searched via SharePoint Online (Cloud SSA – Search Service Application) a plus • Nintex for SharePoint 2016 • Expertise with User Interface concepts including HTML 5, CSS 3, Responsive Design • Programming expertise in developing web applications in .NET / C# • Experience with SQL databases a plus • Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) a plus Candidate Description The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with other team members, accepting feedback from other team members, as well as willingness to train other team members. The candidate should have the ability to interact with non-technical business users, as well as to interact with other IT team members. The candidate should be prepared to give specific examples, during an interview, of complex solutions which he/she has developed in SharePoint, and be able to explain the technical details of what he/she implemented.
