*Location: Trinity Blvd Fort Worth, TX 76155* *Duration: 6 Months * *GC,USC Only * *Must have **point of sale**,UML Exp * GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Product Owners are key participants of the software development lifecycle who work closely with the product management and development staff to develop outstanding point of sale (POS), restaurant back office, and enterprise solutions to the hospitality industry. Responsibilities for this position focus on the development of detailed functional specifications for new products and feature enhancements to existing products. Other responsibilities include creating prototypes of new software/enhancing existing software, responding to user enhancement requests, researching software defects, and performing internal tests of new products and features. *Essential Functions*: Refines user requirements based on interaction with product managers and customers Generates use stories/other UML artifacts Develops user stories for new products and enhancements, as defined by requirements/use cases Prioritizes user stories within a sprint to deliver releases on cadence Works within an agile team to provide direction and monitor velocity Researches and analyzes business needs for enhancements and reports/export requests Develops reports and exports prototypes and specifications Assists in the research/analysis of system defects and specifies/documents resolutions Assists with specification review sessions Internally tests new products and features Produces technical and product overview documentation for new and existing products Assist with training customers, sales teams and other NCR personnel on new and existing products Provides product expertise & documentation to NCR technical staff i.e. development, support and QA teams Provides product training/documentation to non-technical staff i.e. sales and training teams Provides user support as needed to support beta tests Other job related duties as assigned *Secondary Functions*: *None Required Education And/or Experience*: Formal education level: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Training: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Specific skills & proficiency level: An understanding of the restaurant or related industry is very desirable; proven multi-tasking skills; strong interpersonal skills; proven technical aptitude; good time management skills; proficient in MS Word; superior technical writing skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented with a strong focus on quality; ability to discuss technical concepts with development team; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to customers and non-technical internal teams such as training, user documentation and sales; solid understanding of the software development life cycle; candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. on an unlimited basis for an indefinite period of time Experience: Experience in analyzing and documenting user business requirements; experience in technical documentation; experience in software testing is desirable; experience in software support and/or training is desirable; experience with Visual Basic is desirable; experience with UML is desirable; experience in generating use cases Thanks and Regards, Anand V Computech Corporation 100 W Kirby St Detroit, MI-48202 Phone: ( 313) 202-0929 <callto:313%29%20202-0929> Ext 51168 Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
