Please do let me know if you have any suitable profile.* *Role: ETL Developer* *Location: Albany, NY* *Duration: Long term contract* *Rate: $50/hr on C2C MAX* *Minimum Qualifications * The Consultant must possess the following minimum qualifications: A. Five years’ experience developing and maintaining a data interchange system interfacing with a commercial off-the-shelf financial system, such as PeopleSoft or Oracle Applications; B. Five years’ experience working with Oracle Security including users, roles, object and system privileges, application contexts, Virtual Private Database and associated policies; C. One years’ experience working with an ETL tool such as Oracle Warehouse Builder or Oracle Data Integrator; and D. Five years’ experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence such as OBIEE, Discoverer, or Oracle Reports. *JD - ETL Developer* the ETL Developer (the “Consultant”) will: A. Collaborate with OSC development staff, system users, business analysts and others to gather requirements for system changes and enhancements; B. Perform analysis necessary to understand the requirements for system changes and enhancements and any factors related to fulfilling these requirements; C. Design solutions to satisfy requirements for system changes and enhancements; D. Identify, analyze and resolve production issues; E. Develop, remediate, enhance and refactor program code and Oracle Warehouse Builder objects to implement design solutions and to enhance code readability, efficiency and maintainability; F. Design test plans to confirm that the requirements of system changes and enhancements are being met. Regression, unit and integration testing should be included in the design, as required; G. Create and maintain documentation, as needed. Documentation will be required for: 1. Program units and objects, 2. Processes, 3. Environment setup and configuration, 4. Solutions identified to resolve problems, 5. Test plans, 6. Business requirements, and 7. Design documents; H. Report to the Client Manager on the status of tasks and any issues encountered in applications; I. Work with the Database Administration team to maintain the new data warehouse security model, conforming to the First NY Security Guide and the Client Technical Reference Manual; J. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to other programmers; and K.
