*Project Summary – *

Point of Sale Activation (POSA) cards are stored-value gift and prepaid
product cards which are redeemable for products and services from providers.
The term POSA refers to the fact that these cards have no value until they
are sold to a consumer. During the purchase process, the cards is activated
– after which, the stored value of the cards is available for use by the end
consumer.



*Technical Skills Required* -

·         7+ years of related work experience is required.

·         Problem solving, decision making and analytical skills are
necessary.

·         Communication and Customer Service skills need be well developed.


·         Strong technical skills with the following are required:  Windows
Azure, network configuration and troubleshooting, debug skills with ASP.NET,
WCF, C#, Web services, T-SQL, Windows Server O/S configuration, server
administration, some IIS & SQL Administration, and experience with DNS, load
balancing and SSL.

·         BS in Computer Science or related is preferred. Production support
experience.

*Functional Skills Required:*

Responsible as the Subject Matter Expert for production environment and
application(s).  Can trouble shoot issues independently, can work with
project team directly without guidance from others.  Available for on call
escalations and advanced break fix problems and problem management.
Facilitates and coordinates release management process and adherence to it.
Participates in major problem reviews, initiates requests for change and
ensures compliance with operational and security policies

Capable of leading IM team in trouble shooting issues and can identify
potential problems in applications and advocate for solutions.  Mentors and
develops other Production Engineers.
