The change was to specifically state years of experience in C# and note that
this person does not need that much electrical experience. We are more
interested in a very good code writer (in C#) with some electrical
experience.
Academic Degree(s) required: 4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer
Engineering
*Experience Required:***
- Software
- 5 years experience in software (C++, C, C#, etc.)
- 1 year of this in C#
- Familiarity with Communication Protocols (Ethernet, USB, RS-485)
- Electrical
- 2 years analog or digital electrical design
- Manufacturing
- Understand manufacturing equipment safety requirements (i.e.
grounding, 2 hand rule, Class I, II)
- Communication
- Listens and answers the questions asked with sufficient detail.
Asks appropriate questions and knows when to stop speaking.
* Experienced Desired:*
- Manufacturing test equipment design and implementation
- Knowledge of National Instruments equipment
- Knowledge of PCAD schematic
- Experience working in larger development teams (>5 designers)
* **Principal Accountabilities:***
- Design of manufacturing test equipment (software and analog)
- Work with outside suppliers in the design / fabrication of this
equipment
- Oversee the qualification of this equipment (Gage studies, cycling,
etc.)
- Document test systems (Schematics, BOM?s)
