Hi, Need *System Administrator* *Location – Walnut Creek- CA* *Duration-6 months* * * *Required Technical skills:- * *Thorough understanding of email RFCs and SMTP Protocol, email list building and list management. * - Knowledge of email systems including Exchange, Zimbra, postfix, and sendmail. - Familiarity with email industry issues around email deliverability, anti-spam initiatives, email authentication and other industry initiatives such as SPF, SenderID and DomainKeys. - Familiarity with a broad mix of operating environments including Linux, Unix, and Windows. - Well rounded Systems Administration experience in windows 2008, 2003, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS. - In depth understanding of UNIX Load Balancers including Linux Virtual Server, high availability and heartbeat. - Experience in scripting (Unix and Windows), and automating jobs. - Experience in network design, implementation of layer 2,3,4 network switches, routing, BGP, SNMP, network monitoring, sniffers, packet capturing and troubleshooting - Experience with Firewall (Cisco ASA, Astaro), IPSec VPN implementation, Intrusion Detection Software, Vulnerability Scanning Software, Email Security tools, Data Loss Prevention, Anti-virus, and Encryption *Additional Requirements: * - Minimum of 6 years experience in System Administration - Minimum of 2 years experience in setting up mail servers/services - Assist in negotiating contract with vendor - Create a process on how to manage the mail system - Closely manage the migration of all JIL members companies to this mail system launch - Resolve any open issues post launch - Document end-to-end system, user guide, admin guide - Work closely with PMO on all milestones and timelines - Identify on-going support needs and roles - Excellent verbal and communication skills - Excellent technical presentation skillz. *Kevin* *703-955-3579* *[email protected]* <[email protected]>* * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
