Job Title: *Director, Indirect Sourcing – Information Technology & Telecom*

Client Location: *Wisconsin*

Salary: *$110K + 20% bonus*



*Position Summary: *

§  The Director of Indirect Sourcing – IT & Telecom will be responsible for
our global technology spend of approximately $200 million annually.

§  Lead a team of 3 Senior Category Leaders responsible for strategic
sourcing activities and supplier management functions for Indirect Spend.

§  Develop strategy and execute annual sourcing plans driving year over year
savings.

§  Act as the Sourcing business partner on CIO’s Global Council for
Information Technology.



*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

§  Analyze cross-divisional spend and develop global strategic category
sourcing plans to reduce total cost of ownership for all business units.

§  Lead Sourcing Team to negotiate and manage contracts for the following
areas:

§  SAAS, ERP, and business application software

§  E-commerce projects specific to website consolidation for Intranet and
Internet activities

§  Lead Management, CRM and other customer-facing software tools

§  Infrastructure hardware/software contracts for servers, workstations,
network equipment, and security.

§  Outsourcing agreements for Infrastructure services

§  Consulting services for Infrastructure projects

§  Landline voice and data telecommunications

§  Wireless communications

§  Demonstrate a measurable reduction in year over year total cost of
ownership for the goods and/or services being sourced without compromising
quality and/or service levels.

§  Provide thought leadership in developing and implementing sourcing
strategies.

§  Manage contracting process and lead coordination with Legal to ensure
commercial relationships are appropriately documented.

§  Champion use of e-Sourcing and Spend Visibility tools within areas of
responsibility.

§  Manage relationships with IT senior management and the suppliers.

§  Manage the supplier qualification, RFP, supplier selection, contract
development, implementation, compliance, and ongoing supply base management
process as it pertains to IT & Telecom.

§  Mentor and develop staff through counseling and development of training
program that addresses individual areas of improvement.



 *Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: *

§  Bachelor’s Degree required; Graduate Degree in Business (Preferred)

§  Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or equivalent experience

§  Minimum 10 years experience in sourcing / operational leadership

§  Minimum 5-7 years experience in negotiating hardware, software, and
service agreements for Information Technology

§  Experience in a continuous improvement environment with a track record of
achieving significant savings year over year

§  Strong communications and presentation skills

§  Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing process

§  Strong project management skills

§  Excellent leadership and teamwork skills

§  Must be able to work across all functions and levels of an organization

§  20% travel



*Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: *

§  A minimum of a 4-year undergraduate college degree required in Business,
Finance, and/or Technical field

§  Broad business acumen to include manufacturing, sourcing - Total Cost of
Ownership decisions in progressive companies where best in class practices
are employed

§  Strong leadership and effective business partnering capabilities

§  Proven ability to develop and manage a high performing group

§  Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex organization
