Hi, *Need Sr. JAVA (J2SE) Developer -- NYC, NY -- 6months+ * *F2F required- NE coast candidates ONLY!* *REQUIRED Skills/experience: * Three + years of in-depth Java J2SE development experience. Three + years experience of developing with Swing. Two + years experience of developing highly multithreaded, highly scalable, concurrent applications (for example using Doug Leas framework). Two + years experience of multi-tier architectures. In-depth Understanding of performance tuning, message integrity and security related to real-time applications. Two + years of Oracle database experience. Two + years experience of developing web solutions with Java (JSP, JFC, Spring MVC, struts or similar) Experience of native platform integration. Experience driving agile development methods (using continuous integration tools, automated build processes, test-driven development tools, etc.). Some experience of other programming languages, preferabely C++ or Python. Exposure to bus architectures for delivery of market & time series data and experience of developing with JMS, RMDS, TIB or other similar bus Foreign Exchange markets, both cash and vanilla and exotic derivatives. Investment banking trading business in general (across Rates, Credit & Equities). *As a developer within the team the successful candidate will: * Design, develop, test and deliver software solutions in the Currencies Technology group for use by both internal and external customers. Analyse requirements for the solutions they deliver, to ensure that they provide the right solution Contribute to the architecture of the Currencies Technology offering.
