Start: Immediately * *Group- Data Warehouse/ BI group * Must be able to write Native Oracle queries and be strong in Data Validation--- tools such as Toad, etc. Here are the core requirements for Cognos Developer position: Looking for Cognos/Powerplay Expert 1. Expert skills with Cognos Powerplay, transformer, analysis studio. This includes, performance tuning for long cube build time, building cubes incrementally, building sub-cubes, partitioning etc. 2. Solid experience with data profiling, data validation through native SQL queries in the oracle environment. Ability to troubleshoot data problems in the cube against oracle data warehouse and source systems. 3. Proficiency with working in a UNIX environment - including, shell scripting, cron scheduling, looking at processes, environment setting etc. 4. Expertise in other Cognos tools, namely, report studio, query studio, framework manager. 5. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, principles and techniques.
