Responsibilities include software specification and design, requirements analysis, software development, integration and testing. *General Skills and Work Experience Required: *Candidate must have 3+ years experience in the design and development of application and or component software. This experience should include software design and architecture. Requires solid understanding of client-server architecture, component architecture, and object-oriented design and programming. Windows XP / Win 7 operating systems experience required. Must have great communications skills, be self-motivated, possess the ability to work in a team environment, and demonstrate excellent problem solving skills. Solid understanding of Software development life cycle, unit testing discipline required. Systems engineering processes and CMM development processes a plus. *Required Skills *C# and Windows programming Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 / 2010 Microsoft .NET Framework and WinForm / WPF development experience Rational ClearCase (or related SCM tool) Software Unit Testing (NUnit or similar) Familiarity with Object Oriented Analysis and Design practices and UML Experience with Agile software development practices Quick learner of new concepts and technologies. High energy, positive team player. Strong verbal and written communications. Ability to distill complex concepts and issues into simple, concise and clear terms. Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels. Ability to work under pressure. *Desired Skills *Experience with C++, COM, MSMQ, .NET Remoting, SQL (ADO.NET<http://ado.net/>, stored procedures, triggers, etc.) Working knowledge of medical device regulations.
