*Location: Hoboken, NJ (Local Candidates from tri-state only)*
Client, is looking for Documentum developer for an initial six month web
publishing project in its Hoboken, NJ office.
*It is likely this project will renew many times and can be years long in
duration*
The Senior Developer will join a mature and accomplished team that shares
responsibility for developing and maintaining a Documentum based Content
Management System driving the clients' next generation College Online
Learning platform working in an agile team with a global team of
developers. To round out a deep and talented team, the client seeks a
strong Documentum/XML developer from a java background who is also highly
experienced in UI design and implementation. Our client considers it
important that the candidate has demonstrated experience working well within
a team environment. The client considers high level oral and written
communication skills very important.
*Experience Required: *
5+ years hands-on Documentum, Java/J2EE, WDK, DFC, XML Programming
experience
Strong UI (design & implementation) within Documentum Suite (Webtop,
Webpublisher, DCM)
UI tools within Documentum
Project lifecycle development experience
Excellent Communication skills
Technology:
Documentum v.6.x
Deep knowledge of XML/Schema
Strong DFC, WDK, DFS experience - ability to create advanced custom WDK
components, standalone DFC & XML applications
Strong experience in Java/Unix environments
Very strong experience in working with XML Processing in Java
Performance optimization of custom code in Documentum (horizontal & vertical
scaling of solutions, bulk data import/export)
Extensive Documentum life-cycle & workflow experience
Experience with custom applications & content migration from Documentum 6.0
to 6.5
Plusses:
Experience as a Team Lead
Documentum DFS experience advantageous and integrating Documentum with other
java applications
Experience with common open source technology such as Spring, Hibernate,
Tomcat/Jboss and familiarity with CVS/Subversion are especially advantageous
Database experience with Oracle, MySQL
Academic Web publishing experience
Exposure to MarkLogic, Documentum xDB or other Xquery database
Java Messaging Services using IBM MQ Series or similar SOA
applications
