The SharePoint Administrator will build, deploy, administer, troubleshoot, and provideday to day support for multiple SharePoint farms. Required Experience and Skills: * * *Responsibilities:* - Provide client-side SharePoint site collection administration. - Provide new users with access via Active Directory. - Serve as a point of escalation for SharePoint issues - Resolve technical issues as a Tier 2/3 (client side/server side support) technician for SharePoint - Triage related system bugs & issues and assist with the maintenance of core SharePoint system functionality - Performance Tuning - Design and implement SharePoint workflow processes as determined by the customer - Build and test changes to the SharePoint and Project Server technical architecture - Perform routine maintenance and support activities. - Participate in transition of the application or technical architecture to the testers to ensure a clear and complete understanding of the product and its expected performance. - Responsible for following project management / lifecycle/change control processes and procedures - Responsible for creating test standards, documents, and reviewing team member#s work for quality assurance purposes - Respond to production support Service Requests. - Supporting DBAs and developers in the deployment of SharePoint related solutions (e.g. addition of custom web parts, deployment of solutions) - Promote solutions between Dev, QA and Production. Participate in implementation of application work requests and releases into production. - Administer multiple web applications with thousands of site collections and 20,000+ users. * * *Requirements:* - Candidates must have at least 5+ years of enterprise experience with Microsoft Server platforms and 7+ years of experience in a technical support role in an information technology related groups. - 3+ years of in-depth enterprise experience with SharePoint 2007 and WSS v3 administration in medium to large size companies with at least 5,000 users. - 1+ years of enterprise experience with SharePoint 2010 administration in medium to large size companies. - Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)/Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) with a focus on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS 2007) or SharePoint 2010. - Computer Science or Business degree. Masters Degree preferred. * * *Technical Skills:* *Demonstrated experience with the following:* - SharePoint 2007 and 2010. - SharePoint administration - Infopath2007/2010 forms design, workflow, deployment and troubleshooting - Creating/migrating/deleting site collections between multiple SharePoint farms - Must have experience running stsadm commands to run reports, start/stop services, backup/restore sites, etc. - Powershell 2.0 scripting - IIS administration - Search administration - Familiar with user profiles - Troubleshooting, and reading LOGS < ULS/IIS/system? - Windows Active Directory - Creating, configuring, and maintaining Shared Service Providers to enable and enhance site search functionality, including search server. - Ability to administer SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 to include installing and configuring medium web farm topology and design/deploy/secure/administer the current and future multiple SharePoint farms - Adding a,,nd configuring custom properties to documents so that they may be searched - Content Database optimization - Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 and 2010 - Apply SharePoint patches, Service Packs and Infrastructure updates as necessary.
