*Senior Network and Security Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Position: 1 year Contract (with possible extension)
Job Description:*
**This position is responsible for managing Network Security for
geographically different datacenters. Ensure availability, scalability,
uptime & security requirements of SaaS Services and systems are clearly
understood and addressed. Preserve the integrity and design of the
Network Security to support mission-critical infrastructure necessary
for business operations. Under minimal supervision, produce deliverables
in alignment with overall Transformation program demonstrating mastery
skills in area of sub specialization.
*Skills:*
. BS or equivalent degree
. 10+ years of experience in 24x7 operational environment supporting
network infrastructure for production
. 10+ years experience network for applications & services with 99.9%
availability
. 10+ years of experience with network platform like Cisco, Juniper &
Foundry
. 5+ years of experience with load balancing platform like
Citrix/Netscalar & F5 is required
. 5+ years of experience with security platform like Check Point,
Juniper & Cisco. Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls is preferred.
. In depth under understanding of TCP/IP networking & experience in
setting high availability networks
. In depth knowledge of BGP, GLSB, OSPF and LAN/WAN technologies.
. Experience with IDS/IPS technologies including SEIM is required.
. Must have experience & willingness to carry on-call pager & respond
to P1/P2 incidents around the clock.
. Junior level of experience with Windows technologies like Windows
2003, Windows 2008 IIS, Active Directory
. Junior of experience with Linux platforms like RedHat or CentOS
. Experience with tools like Nagios, What's up Gold, Remedy,
Service-Now or similar
. Experience in J2EE (Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic) is a plus
. Experience in supporting Security products & technologies like PKI,
two-factor-auth is a plus
