Join a dynamic, fast-moving team testing Quality of Service software
products working with some of the latest IT monitoring and
virtualization technologies. In this position you will work closely with
engineers to understand requirements and functionality in order to
develop and execute manual and automated test cases that methodically
exercise and validate IT management solutions for Virtualization
systems. A successful candidate will have the following qualifications.
*Qualifications:*
Must have the following qualifications: - Experience with Linux,
Windows, and Solaris operating systems. - Experience with Perl, shell,
or other scripting or programming language. - Strong written and verbal
communication skills - Excellent teamwork skills. - Self-starter.
Willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies.
*Desired qualifications: -* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
experience - Experience with Virtualization systems such as VmWare or
Application virtualization systems such as Applogic. - Experience
testing commercial applications. - Experience with IP-based networking
protocols, virtualization tools, storage systems, and/or
equipment/applications. - Knowledge of QoS and IT management products -
Expertise in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of various
networking environments and tools -- NAT, firewalls, switches, ssh
tunnels, VPNs, routers, etc. - Experience administering and configuring
Unix and Windows platforms.
