I’m working on a Perl Developer opportunity here in San Diego, CA.
Specifically, our client is looking for someone who has worked with GIT.



They have previously been able to hire off two phone screens. I’ve included

*Description:*

We are actively seeking a PERL developer whose primary responsibilities
will include building a scalable test framework to span multiple bug
tracking systems to ensure the middleware system which connects them is
functioning within expected conditions.

The job will span multiple functional areas (ClearQuest, BugZilla, FTP,
XML, Biztalk, SQL, and Java). A fundamental/expert understanding of the
PERL interpreted programming language and advanced UNIX skills are
required. Data mining and SQL is also an important part of the role.

The ability to work within a global team, excellent communication skills
and excellent organizational skills are required for success. Independent
debugging and reverse engineering existing solutions with a focus on
performance and large scalability will be critical for success. Candidate
will work within a large, globally distributed fast paced team of
Configuration Management/Automation Specialists. Expert level test
engineering skills are also required for success.

*Job Requirements:*

1. BS in Computer Science or higher degree.

2. Expert knowledge with the PERL interpreted language.

3. 3-5 years of experience with test engineering of software systems

4. Excellent communication skills.

5. Excellent organization skills.

6. Excellent UNIX skills.

*Optional:*

1. Relational database/SQL knowledge, (Microsoft SQL Server).

2. Good knowledge in SQL, Biztalk, FTP, Java, ClearQuest, BugZilla

3. Understands operating system concepts.

4. Linux & Windows System Administration skills.
