*SECURITY Project Manager Job Description: *
Lead and drive project delivery from inception to completion; Provide
overall guidance and leadership to project team; give direction in
day-to-day tasks. Problem detection and resolution through proactive
mitigation of project risks and rapid escalation for support as needed
to remove blockers and prevent team distractions. Provides leadership to
guide and influence stakeholders decisions. Maintain detailed task-level
project plan. Monthly resource-based labor forecasting / actuals
realization; strong emphasis on forecast accuracy. Report status, and
milestones to program management and executive sponsors in a timely and
appropriate nature.
**
*Key Skills/Experience Requirements: *
Expert IT Project Manager with 6+ years of IT Project Management
experience. Proven track record for driving the delivery of $1M to $3M
projects, with quality, on-time and on-budget. Able to establish
credibility and rapport with Senior Executives in IT based on a firm
grasp of the issue at hand and the program/project management.
Self-managing, demonstrates leadership and operates with a sense of
autonomy. Excellent Vendor and Financial management skills and
demonstrated results are required. Outstanding verbal and written
communication skills.
*Required: -*PMP Certification - Expert knowledge of MS Project is required
*Desired: -*Scrum and/or Agile experience is a strong plus
*Clarity*experience is a plus Core Strength Profile Leadership: -
Capable of inspiring confidence and communicate vision Management: -
Effectively plans for team activates through formal project plans,
agendas, meeting minutes, roles & responsibility definition, and overall
management of triple constraints SME: - End-to-end management of IT
Security projects that include compliance remediation, and security team
deliverables. --
*Working knowledge on PCI/SOX compliance - Understands key security
concepts such as access management, vulnerability & patch management,
SIEM and encryption. - CISSP/QSA/CPP qualification a plus
