Title: - X12 EDI Developer with some java development
Location: - Palo Alto, CA
Duration: - 6 to 12 Months Contract position
Provide support for EDI database analysis, design, and
operations. Assist with conducting and managing product evaluations.
Provide installation, configuration, and training. Perform system
maintenance to update records, specifications, and operations procedures
of partner systems. Maintain EDI account transaction activities. Audit
the quality of data provided, provide security and backup, and ensures
system disaster recovery process are in place.

*Responsibilities*
Responsible for the development of EDI transactions and
processes. Develop and maintain translation maps for *X12*, XML and
database files. Gathers business requirements and proposes effective
solutions. Monitors data and process flows for success, timeliness, and
accuracy. Identifies and resolves data and trading partner issues.
Responsible for the design, build, test, and implementation of
projects. Prepares, plans, and executes integration & system testing
activities. Creates and maintains system interface diagrams, functional
designs, and technical specifications. Works in all design, testing,
conversion, and implementation phases of a system development life cycle.

*Minimum Requirements: *
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience. At
least five years of IT/EDI development experience. At least five years
experience in mapping and maintaining EDI translator software. Working
knowledge of ANSI *X12* EDI standards. Strong problem solving skills. **
*Experience with development on Java in Healthcare field.*

*Preferred Requirements: *
Knowledge of EDI ANSI standards for development and support of 270/271,
276/277, *834*, 835, 820, 837 and 999 EDI transactions.
