We are looking for a smart web developer to build and support the
companies zipthr services platform. This is a rare opportunity to work
with a team that has an unusually successful track record with consumer
facing products, and take responsibility for the central component of a
new and innovative product.
*Requirements:*
* 5+ years of web application development experience
* Proficiency across the range of Java technologies, particularly the
Servlet API, REST API, XML, JDBC, Security
* Understanding of software architecture, patterns and common frameworks
(e.g. Resteasy, activemq, JCache)
* Strong knowledge of database systems, and proficiency in SQL
* Good communication skills
* Quick grasp of customer requirements and the ability to translate them
into technical designs
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field,
or equivalent work experience
