This includes research, design, test, and manage all components of File Services which is managed by the desktop organization. *Majority of the focus will be on DFS, DFS-R, FSRM, Disk Quotas, and File classifications.* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, design, deploy, and test Windows 2008 R2 Operating System. Research, design, deploy, and test File Services, DFS, Disk Quotas, and File Screens. Research, design, deploy, and test FSRM. Design, implement, and support server virtualization using Hyper-V. Design directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers. Responds to the needs and questions concerning File Services. Develops and adheres to network standards. Provides planning and technical support for company installations. Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment selection. Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. 8 to 10 years of experience in the field as a Systems Engineer. An MCSE certification is a plus. SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Design and Implementation experience with Windows 2008 R2 Operating System. *Design and Implementation experience with File Services/DFS/File Screens/Disk Quotas*. Design and Implementation experience with FSRM. Design and Implementation experience with managing folder redirection and offline files. Design and Implementation experience with distributed BranchCache Data management experience. Knowledge of HP Servers. Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
