*Job Details:*
Role: Data Services Developer
Location: Austin,TX
Duration: 6 to 12 months contract to hire
Rate: open
*Required:*
â?¢ 3-5 years solid experience with Business Objects Data Services/Data
Integrator ETL tool.
â?¢ Strong SQL programming skills (Over 5 years experience).
â?¢ Data Warehouse/Data mart development and/or maintenance experience.
Includes dimensional data models, ETL processes, and Business
Intelligence reporting.
*Responsibility:*
â?¢ Performs design, build, testing, defect resolution, and deployment
tasks for a Medicaid Data Warehouse.
â?¢ Prepares technical documentation per project standards.
â?¢ Ensures that built components adhere to approved technical designs.
â?¢ Performs testing per approved test plans and test cases.
â?¢ Peer reviews code and documentation.
â?¢ Work closely with business analysts to understand business and
functional requirements and ensure application development meets those
requirements.
â?¢ Work closely with application architects to ensure application
development meets technical requirements and adheres to architecture
standards.
â?¢ Produce high-quality documentation that is accurate and consistent
with current project standards.
â?¢ Identify, escalate, and manage project issues and risks in a timely
manner.
*Desired:*
â?¢ 1 - 2 year experience with application development/maintenance on HP
Non Stop platform
â?¢ 1 - 2 year experience with Business Objects developing reports and
building universes in XI
â?¢ 1 - 2 years experience working with Claims Data
â?¢ 1 - 2 years experience developing detail designs for Data Warehouse
Development
â?¢ Full life-cycle application development experience. Erwin or similar
tools for data modeling.
â?¢ Ad hoc analysis using queries languages/tools such as SQL, Business
Objects, and/or MS Access
