*Position – Captiva / Documentum Developer* *Experience – 5+ years* *Location – Charlotte, NC* *Length – 6 month Contract* * * *Targeted Skills: * · *Candidate will be part of the fast pace Imaging team with the primary responsibility as the Developer of EMC - Captiva (InputAccell and Dispatcher) as well as Documentum and Task Space. Development may include problem fixes and application enhancements. * · *Current version of InputAccell is 6.5. Customized IPP DLL's written in .NET. Other application code is written in VB. * · *Candidate will develop using .Net framework, VB and possibly Java and must be familiar with web services including HTTP, XML and SOAP standards.* · * Candidate will work independently to develop Captiva problem fixes and enhancements. * · *Candidate will be interacting with IT and business staff and needs to be comfortable in high pressured situations * · *Candidate must have solid communication skills as he or she will be negotiating requirements and solving problem with many different types of people. * · *Candidate will need to be comfortable working with Project and production support teams in order to test and implement the code changes * Candidate will be expected to troubleshoot and document steps and parameters surrounding issues reported in production environment. * · *Candidate will be researching problems related to Captiva and its integrating functions (application and environment) and recommend and implement resolutions. * · *Candidate will be responsible for testing code fixes delivered to client from the EMC vendor and fixes written in house. Candidates activities will be guided by rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices; internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements; and change control and problem management procedures.* * * *Experience & Qualifications: * · *Must have experience with EMC Captiva (InputAccell and Dispatcher) application. * · *Must have experience with IPP's and DPP's. * · *Experience with API's is a plus, events and functions as well as creating templates within Captiva Candidate must be at advanced development level with Visual Basic and .Net * · *Must be at advanced development level with developing stored procedures using SQL script and have experience with SQL databases. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. * · *6 to 10 years of IT work experience in systems programming / analysis Typically experienced across two Information Technology areas or in a single system / applications software development technology across multiple computing platforms. Practical experience of project management disciplines. * · *Ability to translate business/functional requirements into a Technical Design and Architecture, good written skills, experience drafting technical documentation (i.e. Impact assessments, TDDs, Tech Arch diagrams, etc.). Extensive Unit and Component test strategy, planning, and execution experience.
