*Position: Network Engineer* *Duration: 6 months plus* *Location: Seattle, WA* * * *Interview: Multiple Phone Screens* * * *Basic Qualifications*: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. - Professional experience in enterprise IP network analysis, design and engineering activities. - In-depth knowledge of and experience with major Internet routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, etc. - In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router and switch platforms; especially Cisco switches, routers, and ASA firewalls. - Professional written and verbal communication skills (English required, other languages a plus) - Expertise in a majority of the following technologies and protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, T1/E1, T3/E3, Ethernet, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, NAT, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, NFS, SMB/CIFS, FTP, SFTP, SSH, IPSEC, VPNs, firewalls, 802.11 wireless, IT security best practices. - CCNP or CCIE certification *Preferred Qualifications* - Experience with Juniper, NetScreen and Cisco Nexus a plus. - You are results oriented and self-motivated, and have excellent leadership and teamwork skills. - 3+ years professional experience designing, implementing and supporting large-scale enterprise TCP/IP networks with greater than 100 switches or routers. - Experience working with carriers to provision, install and operate wide area data networks. - Your technical knowledge should be broad and deep, ranging from application security to network engineering and security, secure software development practices, and cryptography. - Strong UNIX skills and basic programming ability in Perl, shell and C/C++ are desirable. - Professional systems administration experience in a large environment is desirable. - Proficiency with data network cabling and the data center design is desirable. - Good interpersonal and customer service skills. - Experience working closely with high level business stakeholders to deeply analyze problems and balance the technical/security risks with business requirements. * * * * * * *Thanks & Regards,* Raja *r...@nihaki.com* <r...@nihaki.com>* **Ph: (732) 438 1906 Ext:106 *** *Nihaki Systems Inc* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
