It is very important that the candidates have actual experience in this area. Strong knowledge of various telecommunication's concepts, practices, and procedures. Strong knowledge of networking principles to include understanding of TCP/IP, IP Sub-netting, VLANs, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, and QoS. Strong understanding of WAN and MAN technologies including dark fiber, MPLS, Metro-E and knowledge of SIP and H.323 protocols.
