Position : *Life Ray Portal Architect* Location : *Hopewell, NJ* Duration : *6-12 Months plus possible extensions * *Final Round Skype Interview for Non-Locals*** *Description :* The candidate must have total 12+ years of experience with in-depth knowledge of Liferay Portal and security solutions. They must be able to architect, design, develop and assist with performance tuning, and understand cloud capacity planning for large scale portal solutions. The candidate should have experience leading a team of at least 7-10 developers, consultants and quality assurance to deliver solutions. Experiences in configuration management and continuous integration and automated build tools. Familiar with Java coding standard and experience in code review and code quality control. Experience in Portal / IDM / SSO / Cloud Knowledge and experience of Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) Functional and Technical expertise in: Developing and customizing Liferay Portal 4.x/5.x/6.x/6.1.x Executing Liferay Integration Point (LDAP and CMS integrations) Consuming and Producing Liferay Web Services Application delivery in the J2EE model, including but not limited to, XML, web services, portlet (JSR-286 and JSR-168) and associated technologies Experienced in Liferay Hooks, Liferay Themes using Liferay Service Builder, Liferay Design, Liferay CMS and Liferay Integration Point experience Solutions Architect (Web / CMS / Portals) will be responsible for the on-going technical and solution design in web applications, portals and CMS (Content Management System). Main areas of focus will include Internet/Intranet Web applications, Portals, public website streams and document management systems. Responsibilities • Act as a key liaison between business/product and technology; rationalizing the portfolio of products against the technology stack/architecture and capabilities. • Accountable for Architecture and Design throughout full project lifecycle. • Research and recommend package IT solutions alongside the Business and IT; acknowledging the overall Enterprise Architecture blueprint. • Produce and maintain technical architecture documentation that outlines the current and future Company architecture vision and definition. • Manage issues/risks and translate business requirements into system designs. • Manage offshore resources where required and provide support to junior members of staff.
