The Equity Risk System practice area's main focus is a companywide Equity Derivative Risk and Pricing plant that is used in all trading centers by traders and risk managers. The system aids trading decisions and risk management by frequent calculation of value and risk measures of all open equity positions of the company. This process is supported by a mesh of distributed components and highly parallelized calculation infrastructure that is implemented in a mixed (mainly Java and C++) language environment. The ERS Valuation Services team in New York is looking for a Java or C++ developer who is open to learn basic financial concepts and trading methodologies, is motivated by a fast paced development environment, inspiring work atmosphere and open ended career opportunities. The ideal candidate is well versed in object oriented programming concepts, multi-tiered/multi-threaded applications, open to learn and use new technologies and is capable of performing both independently and as a member of a global development team.
